You can see the most recently created usernames at the user creation log. No name should be reported here unless it is clearly inappropriate, in violation of the policy. Comments on reports can be made with {{UAA}}.

Instructions for filing editors – please read:

  • When you report a name here, you are asserting that the user with that name needs to be immediately blocked. Your report must explain what is problematic about the username, as not all violations of the username policy require blocks.
  • For ordinary violations of the username policy, do not use this page. Instead, warn the user and ask them to change their name, possibly using the {{uw-username}} template.
  • RFCN is a forum for discussing possible violations when the user has already been notified and had a chance to discuss. You should not normally move names from here to WP:RFCN; instead, notify the user and allow them to discuss with you, or simply remove the name if you believe it does not need to be blocked.
  • Some names should not be blocked right away, but monitored to see if the user uses them abusively. These names go on the holding pen page.
  • Please use the {{user-uaa}} instead of {{userlinks}}.

Bot-reported

  • Matches the regular expression bambi|teletubbies. The portion that matched was Bambi.
  • Wait until the user edits. -- Ed (Edgar181) 13:17, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
  • With this many, maybe a check user would be useful to see if they are being created from the same IP address. -- Ed (Edgar181)
I'll consider it, though per WP:RFCU it would likely be declined in the absence of an editing history. Daniel Case (talk) 19:42, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
I've mentioned this elsewhere, but there seems to be a large increase in usernames containing "bambi". Should this be cause for concern? TNX-Man 12:53, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
Considering this kid's persistence, and his knowing that the bulk of his IP range is now blocked, I'm suspicious enough to suspect he's made a bunch of socks from the one IP range that wasn't blocked to use later. I can understand that they can't be blocked without him doing something, but hoping they will at least be watched? -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 14:04, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

(outdent) Is there a way to set the Namewatcher bot to report them only after they edit? That way they won't clog up this board and we'll be alerted if they do start vandalizing. TNX-Man 14:08, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

Various other "bambi" usernames were also created before these; this is why I added the bot rule flagging them; they may well also be part of the same sock nest. I think it's better to leave the bot reporting on creation, for now. Given the past history, we should seriously consider a pre-emptive block, and a RFCU for the IPs behind this and similiar names. -- The Anome (talk) 00:16, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
